@ From a Real Customer Experience …

I found this bottle warmer very effective for the price, as long as you monitor the temperature closely. My daughter is almost 3 months old now and I use this warmer every night to heat my breat milk. It heats much faster than running hot water over the bottle. I can heat one of my daughters bottles, directly from the fridge, (3-4 ounces) in about 1 minute. This is a great feature when your baby is screaming to eat and you’re half asleep. The only draw back is that I have to stand over the heater and periodically take the bottle out and check the temperature – but not a big deal when it only takes about 60 seconds. In almost 3 months, I’ve only overheated 1 bottle. This has been a life saver with those middle of the night feedings…

An included basket for baby food jars and graduated water droppers keep things neat and organized, while the easy-to-read grid allows for effortless measuring.

The Quick Serve is easy to use--just plug in the unit, add water, slip in the bottle or jar, and press the "on" button. Five minutes later your formula, milk or baby food is warm and ready. Good bottle warmer with simple and easy to use.
This bottle warmer helped me and my wife a lot for feeding our twins.
It is easy simple and easy to use. It warmed up a milk bottle pretty fast actually but felt really long since twins were always crying for milk.
If you tried to use it 3-4 times and you will know how much water you need to put for your bottle with water measuring cup. You have to clean the warmer regularly otherwise there will be some stuff in the bottle warmer.
It lasted exactly 12 months for us. It only has 90 days limited warranty. Good product for the money.

Pointless item
It may be my son only but he doesn't care if his bottles are cold or warm and I use water that is in gallon containers which sit on the counter so his bottles are generally at room temperature anyway. This product did work, however, for my standard size Playtex Vent Air bottles but did not heat up my friend's wide mouth bottles when she tried to use it. All in all, this was a pointless purchase on my part; but the return of the item was easy cheesy!

This is a LIFE SAVER!
I have a newborn baby boy and he is relentless when he is hungry. I was stuck warming up my breastmilk by leaving in hott water and it took *forever* to say the least. When I found this online it was like a godsent and I couldnt wait for it to arrive. My little man has been much happier not having to wait as long for his bottle and mommy has been alot happier not having to swirl the bottle in hot water for 15 minutes.

Excellent
This is easy to use, quick working. Just add small volume of water, and pull the button. Only several minutes, I can serve milk for my baby!

Not convenient
I bought this warmer thinking it's more convenient than warming milk with hot water, but actually it is not...the amount of water needed is little therefore it has to be very precise to get to the temperature you want! It takes longer to fill the correct amount of water than needed. Also you have to wait 10 minutes to try again, if a bottle is not warm enough, you have to use something else anyway! The instructions state that the unit needs 10 minutes to cool down if you need to use it again, but it may actually take longer than that...I would prefer to use hot water than using this warmer.

My little “engineer” has tried and tried and tried his hardest to get the gate to work for him, using all manner of methods, even force, and to date has not successfully operated it. He hasn’t been able to figure out a way to get it to open for him yet, though he tries and tries to “bounce” various things on the pedal to get it to open. I think he’s finally given up.
This, in my humble opinion, is the best gate for the money going. Highly, highly recommended.

Product Description:
Rarely does a mom or dad make it through a day without thinking they could use an extra set of hands. So First Years designed the next best thing -- a safety gate that doesn't require any hands at all! But even though it's simple for an adult to just press on the pedal and walk through, it's too difficult for a baby. The gate fits all standard doorways 29" to 34" wide, and, with use of the Gate Extension Kit (sold separately) will also fit other openings up to 44" wide. The pressure-mounted design won't damage walls or doorways. An audible click lets you know the gate has locked.
Amazon.com Product Description:
Because of its simple "knee-knocker" mechanism, this Hands Free Gate can do exactly what the name implies: be opened without having to use your hands. Any parent occupied with little ones and all of their necessities will quickly recognize this as a huge benefit. To operate, simply press on the pedal with your toes and then bump the knee plate with your knee. Closing is just a nudge in the opposite direction; you will hear a click when the latch has caught, offering peace of mind that it’s secure again.

foot pedal
The convenient foot pedal is easy for adults, but difficult for children, to open.
The pedal, knee plate, and hinges are designed so the gate can swing open from either direction. Even smarter is that the gate is purposely designed as easy-to-open for an adult, yet difficult for children. The gate’s vertical bars curb curious toddlers from trying to climb over, are spaced to help prevent painful accidents, and provide ample visibility through to the other side.

pressure mount
Adjustable pressure mounts don’t require screws and won’t mark up your walls.
Able to fit in standard doorframes (29" to 34" wide), the all-metal safety gate is a pressure-mount device. Just twist the adjustable bolts at each of the four corners to get a proper, secure fit in your doorways. (If you have wider than standard doors, The First Years sells extension kits separately that can accommodate up to 44-inch wide openings.) It should be noted that this safety gate can be a little unsteady when used at the outer limits of its range, so you may want to consider an extension kit even if using in a standard doorway.

Before you buy, there are two things to be aware of. One, the actual opening for parents, kids, and/or pets to walk through is only about 18 inches wide. Two, if you want to use this in a doorway and be able to close the door, the foot pedal sticks out too far to allow this. For use with children up to 24 months.

Features:
  • Foot-pedal operated
  • Gate swings open in both directions
  • Gate will fit openings up to 39" with one extension kit and 44" with two extension kits (sold separately)
  • Pressure-mounted design that won't mar walls or doorways
  • This gate is not intended for use at the top of stairs

I love these gates
I got the gates to keep our puppy out of our rooms. For a couple months we kept all the doors closed, and the house felt dark and blah. I feel like I have my house back. The doors were very easy to instal, are simple to open without using your hands, and safe for my puppy. My niece was over (about 35 lbs) and she couldnt open them either, so if I ever have kids ill use them again!

Happy with this gate
We've been using this gate for about 5 months. We've got two large dogs and one very mobile 14 month old, and this has kept all three where they're supposed to be. It's easy enough to install that it goes to Grandma's with no problem.

Only issue is that after constant use, the spring in the release step seems to be acting up a little and it's a bit harder to open, but this is definitely worth the price. The door is secure when closed, and there's no way a precocious toddler is getting through there. We are very happy with this gate.

Great gate - could be five stars with one design update
We've been very pleased with these gates. We originally had the Summer Infant extra tall gates, but replaced them with these. The Summer Infant gates can be opened by crawling babies, so as an infant gate they are an epic fail.

These First Years Hands Free Gates, however, work very well. They really are secure, and much more convenient for adults to open and close by stepping on a pedal. It's actually nice that they don't close automatically, because we leave them open when the babies are asleep or when we're carrying groceries or laundry.

The only design flaw is the width of the gate. Look at the picture. There's the gate, then there are two bars between the gate and the wall. Why? I sure would like to have those six wasted inches applied to widening the gate. Then I could get the laundry basket through it instead of over it. Especially handy when you prefer not to pitch down the stairs.

Great gate!
This is by far one of the best investments we've made since having a baby. This gate was super easy to install, and is very sturdy. I really like that this gate is pressure mounted, so when we need to take them down, there will be no holes to fill in the walls. The foot pedal that releases the gate is very easy for adults to use (once you know that you have to push on it like you mean it!), but not too easy as you wouldn't want any escapees! We also have two small dogs (Yorkie and Shih Tzu) and it holds them where they're supposed to be as well. I LOVE LOVE LOVE this gate. If we ever decide to gate off another doorway, we will definitely buy another one of these!

Easy Installation, Sturdy, Almost like Jail Bars
Before buying this product, measure and look at your floor boards! You may or may not need the extension if you have a wider area to cover. And I had to remove the lower moldings along my floors in order to install this gate properly. Make sure you're okay with doing that if need be. If you don't have a flat, flush surface to mount this gate with, I don't recommend getting it. I first tried installing it on the molding and it was simply not smart.

I'm pretty sure my 8 month old knows how to open this gate. She always goes for the little gray step. Thankfully, the amount of force you need to apply to press it down is pretty great. It's challenging for an adult to press down with one hand, let alone a baby.

The gate works as advertised for us. We have two of them in our home and each uses the extender. They're firmly in place and sturdy. Need a good-looking, sturdy jail door for your wandering youngster? Look no further.
