Top Notch, Loved it
The avent breastpump in the only one I have used and I was extremely pleased with it. Very quiet, easy to assemble, comfortable and I was able to pump as much milk as I was producing in about 5 minutes. I actually liked the soft pads and it was a life-saver especially when I was sore. I do not need the breast pummp anymore and I wanted to wait to write a review until I was finsihed. I would definitely recommend this product. I do think that cleaning any breast pump after each feeding can get overwhelming at times but it was easy to clean.

Does the trick
Works just as it's supposed to. I am quite large-breasted and have had no trouble. Not too loud or uncomfortable. Easy to put together. Also, I have the microwave sterilizer which makes taking care of the parts in between uses a breeze. And I just bought some of the Via cups so all my bottles aren't constantly in the freezer. So far, so good!

awesome pump, don't know what i'll do w/o it
these pumps are great. as a first time mom, i didn't know what to buy. i used the medela pump at the hospital and the first week when i took my newborn home, but wasn't too crazy about it. i read a bunch of reviews and decided to give avent a try. i'm so glad i bought these. my baby couldn't latch on properly, and i ended up pumping exclusively, so a good set of pumps is really important. i prefer avent b/c:

1. the hand controller lets you pump at ANY speed you choose
2. they're really comfortable (w/ the medela, i was getting sharp pains)
3. the motor is quiet
4. the motor still works great (i pump four times a day, 20-30min each session, for about 5 months now).
5. the suction doesn't touch the milk directly, so breast milk won't get into the tubes
6. the bag is designed to hold all the parts (motor, cord, adapter while you pump, so it's easy for working moms
7. comes with two 9-oz, two 4-oz bottles, four cold packs, and two insulators
8. the carrying bag is sleek, so you carry it to work and it just looks like a fancy computer bag.

the only thing that could be improved is that the power adapter is too big and heavy. would be great if avent can make it smaller and have the adapter fit right on the plug, so that it'll save an extra cable too. it's not a big deal if you leave everything in the bag while pumping, but if you want to take it out, then it is a bit bulky.

Never Going Back To Medela!

I had been reading reviews for the Isis and decided to give it a shot since I was having doubts about my Medela PIS.

The Isis is so comfortable I didn't even think I was pumping (compared to the PIS). The petal inserts are a godsend! I love how the setting options are endless because you can set and re-adjust them as much as you want while you pump. The Medela settings were very limited.

I absolutely love that it is a closed system and milk/condensation will NEVER get in the tubing, which was a major worry I had with the PIS. Now I don't have to worry about mold EVER growing in the motor! I feel confidant in keeping and using the Isis for my future children knowing that it won't be a mold factory if I store it for a while.

Assembly time is about the same as the PIS, but the added bonus being that when I wash the pump parts I can reach every nook and cranny and get them clean. Even after sterilizing my medela pump parts I could still see residue and wasn't too happy about that.

Another bonus being that it is so much quieter than the PIS. I've read that some people wish there was a battery option with the Isis, but using the Isis as a manual is just as effective, and I can say with all honesty that I would prefer the MANUAL set up over the Medela PIS any day.

Needless to say I absoloutely LOVE my Isis and have been using it 2-3 times a day for a few months now and my milk supply is still fantastic!

Gerat improve from manual device
I owned the manual version of this pump, and this is a great improvement. All pieces and vessels are compatible, but electric is far easier and faster to operate, memory button works really good to adjust pumpimg rhythm.
Cons: too many pieces to clean, the same as with the manual version

VERY dissapointed!!!
DON'T BUY IT if you are looking for something with good suction! I bought this pump because I used to have a manual AVENT pump, which was great! I though, that electric one will have as strong suction as manual, but I was wrong!!! The electric AVENT is very weak, not goog enough to get 1 oz milk in 15 minutes!!! I am so, so dissapointed. For me it was just waste of money and time... I went for MEDELA SWING which is so much better and I really recommand this one!

Buyer Beware of Amazon's Product Description
I haven't tried the pump yet, but noticed right away that Amazon's description of the items/accessories that are supposed to be included with this product is either incorrect or misleading. I did not receive a 9 oz. bottle or a nylon bag or a travel pack of any kind. Shame on Amazon!

Don't believe the specs, only one 4 oz (small) bottle is included in the package, no 9 oz bottle.

good pump
I love this pump. It was reasonable. I called the company and they also sent me a rebate which brought the cost down more. It arrived right away and it was easy, portable (great for pumping at work). The pump is strong, easy to use and the memory pump is fantastic it is easy to adjust. The plastic is honey colored and it is PBA free. I would buy it again in a minute.
