Gerat improve from manual device
I owned the manual version of this pump, and this is a great improvement. All pieces and vessels are compatible, but electric is far easier and faster to operate, memory button works really good to adjust pumpimg rhythm.
Cons: too many pieces to clean, the same as with the manual version

VERY dissapointed!!!
DON'T BUY IT if you are looking for something with good suction! I bought this pump because I used to have a manual AVENT pump, which was great! I though, that electric one will have as strong suction as manual, but I was wrong!!! The electric AVENT is very weak, not goog enough to get 1 oz milk in 15 minutes!!! I am so, so dissapointed. For me it was just waste of money and time... I went for MEDELA SWING which is so much better and I really recommand this one!

Buyer Beware of Amazon's Product Description
I haven't tried the pump yet, but noticed right away that Amazon's description of the items/accessories that are supposed to be included with this product is either incorrect or misleading. I did not receive a 9 oz. bottle or a nylon bag or a travel pack of any kind. Shame on Amazon!

Don't believe the specs, only one 4 oz (small) bottle is included in the package, no 9 oz bottle.

good pump
I love this pump. It was reasonable. I called the company and they also sent me a rebate which brought the cost down more. It arrived right away and it was easy, portable (great for pumping at work). The pump is strong, easy to use and the memory pump is fantastic it is easy to adjust. The plastic is honey colored and it is PBA free. I would buy it again in a minute.

life saver
this bottle warmer has been a life saver for my husband and I, mostly late at night when our newborn daughter wakes up screaming for a bottle. I have been expressing breast milk and warming that up in it. You can use regular avent bottles in it and also avent via storage cups in which you can freeze breast milk. Love this product! Would totally reccomend, great value for price... everywhere else I looked it cost more.

Almost perfect
We have twin infants who are formula-fed... lots of bottles being heated here. We have tried cheaper bottle warmers and burned out two of the cheaper ones before the twins were 2 months old. This one is by far the best out of the three different models we've tried.

A couple of things to note: it's easy to use for us, but we're familiar with baby products and such. For grandparents who come and try to babysit, the multi-step process to use seems to be too much for them to figure out.

It took us a couple of tries to figure out that our formula (thickened with rice cereal because of reflux issues) needs to heat on the baby food setting, so it takes a little bit longer to heat 8 oz of refrigerated "baby food" in a bottle. But it heats so thoroughly, without overcooking.

We love it so much that we're ordering a second one for downstairs (kept the first one in the babies' room). It's worth the money and seems much hardier than the other ones we used in the past!

Not necessary
This poor review is no knock against the product or its proper functioning, but rather a knock against all bottle warmers in general. Since purchasing this unit we have used it all of one time. Since then it has sat on the kitchen counter collecting dust and taking up space. When children are hungry they want food now, not 10 minutes from now. 20 seconds in the microwave and a good shake to ensure there are no hot spots is far more efficient than firing up one of these things. New parents, save your money for something that is useful like a good baby monitor or better bottles. You don't need one of these things.

DO NOT BUY...
..any philips avent product if you think it will make your life with your baby any easier! We have purchased the avent IQ sterilizer which stopped working after a day, the BPA bottles which all leak and after receiving this bottle warmer today it worked once and has stopped! All the buttons are flashing which according to the manual means the lid is not closed properly, it is a rather flimsy catch to close it, but seriously, how can you close a lid incorrectly? After contacting philips avent helpline for the first two items they did send replacements after several phone calls and rather reluctantly! It appears to be too much to ask for an avent product to work and I will ensure I NEVER buy anything from them again!

Excellent time saver
A few of the other reviews have said this is hard to use, but I found it quite simple.

You use 1 oz of water if you are warming a bottle from room or chilled temperature, and 5 oz if you are warming frozen milk or any non-liquid food from any temperature.

Hold the power button for 3 seconds until it beeps. Select the appropriate icon for food type and temperature. (Bottle/Jar and Room Temp/Chilled/Frozen) Then, press the arrow icon until you reach the amount of food you are warming (in ounces) and then hold the arrow icon down for a few seconds until it beeps and begins the warming process. Not difficult.

I do find that sometimes it is good to tell it to warm 3 oz of food, even if you only have 2 in the bottle. It seems to do a better job of warming it if you tell it there is a little more than there actually is.

Other than that, great product!

4 1/2 years later...still awesome!
I bought this for my first born 4 1/2 years ago. We loved it then. Now we have our second son and dug this out storage. It still works wonderful, easy to clean, quiet.

Highly recommended. Durable!

Still working after 6 years!
I have had this warmer since my first child was born almost 6 years ago. I will soon be using it for my 4th child - and it still works like a charm. I don't even empty it out every time I use it. I just dump out the water and put fresh water in every few days or so. I have used it for baby food and bottles alike.

My single and only complaint is no timer. I have overheated bottles not infrequently as I get busy making dinner or something. It does heat quickly - just about 4 minutes on high for a full 8 oz bottle.

Life saver
This thing works great for me. I would be lost without. We were heating bottles under hot water, but this cuts time in half for me. You do have to watch it as it does not have a timer. Once you get a feel for it and the amount of time you need to heat the bottle to your child's preference, it works great.

Good enough but not the best
Its good, easy to use, but not the best

its very easy to forget that the device is still on, altho there is a light indicator but the whole unit is so tiny, i cant believe for a price of [...] bucks philips didnt want to add a sound indicator like the one we have in microwaves.

i think its too expensive for the things it does, but i agree that it works satisfactory

does what it suppose to
this is a simple bottle warmer. you just need to put in water and turn it on/off, the three settings don't make any difference for us. we just set it to 3 and use this to warm up refrigerated breast milk, usually it takes about 5-7 minutes to get the milk warm. it works the same was as if you're warming the milk w/ hot water, except the water automatically heats up and stays hot. we still need to standby and swirl the milk after every couple minutes so the milk warms evenly. we use avent bottles, so the bottle fits perfectly. w/ dr. brown bottles, it might not fit as well.
