@ From a Real Customer Experience …

I bought this for my daughter when she was having difficulty pumping enough milk with the Madela. She began getting 3 ounces more each time she pumped and it was a more comfortable pump as well. This pump saved her having to supplement with formula and she was able to use the bottles (Avent) she received as a shower gift as well!I was surprised to find it for less at Target after I ordered it here, but the free shipping saved me driving 2 hours to deliver! Now it’s all Avent, she’s happy,Daddy’s happy, Grandbaby’s happy, and I can relax…for the moment!

Great Single Pump
This is a great electric single pump for the budget minded. It works well for a single pump. However, if you are going to pump a lot and often I recommend getting a double pump.

Phillips Avent is the best system
This pump is so liberating for my wife. I found it online and bought it before vacation and it gave us so much more flexibility. My wife loves it because it is battery powered and yet it can be plugged when near AC power. Additionally it can be used manually if no electric source is available. Fits in a medium size hand bag. She takes it to work and can express anywhere she needs.

Wife recommends having the Phillips Avent Twin Electronic Pump SCF304 Avent Bpa Free Isis Iq Duo Twin Electronic Breast Pump with Free Lighter Adapter for home use.

The entire Philips Avent product line is the most well thought out, best engineered system I have seen from any product offering.
Highlights:
-Parts from all pumps are interchangeable
-Milk storage containers are snugly stackable, have a press lock seal/twist off top
-Nipple Cap fits bottle cap
-Breast cup protecting disk serves as a bottle bottom stabilizer
-According to my wife, it feels like the closest thing to a real baby; the massaging action that the cup liner stimulates is ideal over a standard cup with no liner. She has tried Medela pumps and strongly prefers Avent.

My personal opinion is that these electronic Avent pumps are luxury items; but I can think of no better time to pamper your wife than when she is expressing milk for your baby.

Enjoy!

horrible waste of money!!
I used this pump for three months and then it stopped being effective and then suddenly quit all together! Before it quit working it was great and efficient, though due to only lasting three months I rate it very low. Also if you have to pump while at work I recommend a double pump, a single pump just takes too long.

Avent ISIS Uno Electric Breast Pump
This has been a huge time and effort saver for my wife. We never tried to rent one from the hospital but this works really well for us. We heard from the hospital that with the rental one must still buy certain accessories since it will touch the milk and that's nothing something you get to return when done. It's a big commitment to spend like 0-0 and then rental. This worked really well for us given my wife was hand expressing milk in a bottle until our son had a good latch. It does take a little to get use to the various parts that must be assembled but you get use to it quickly.
I read about this in Baby Bargains 2009 book and it rated at the top. For sure there are others, but as the book pointed out this Avent ISIS Uno can convert from electric to manual which may be handy, but we've only used it with the electric pump. I did see at Target some brand that had a handle in the middle and a suction cup on the other side (might have been the Natural Comfort model) but I did not seem to find it rated in Baby Bargains. I decided (as a father) that I'd go with the better reviews.

This thing rocks - it's a beast!
It's solidly built and pumps better than a BP oil rig. It instantly adjusts speed by mimicking what the user shows it. It's simple to assemble and wash too. It's made in England. I haven't seen something made there in a long time! Jolly good job!

@ From a Real Customer Experience …

If you have to warm up a bottle of milk in the middle of the night, time is of the essence. You are after all only awake because your little woke you up and is now fully awake waiting to be fed. A pot of hot water on the stove simply takes too long.
This machine from Philips Avent warms it up in 2-3 minutes. The best thing is that you can indicate if the bottle came out of the fridge or freezer and how much is in the bottle…

Great buy, works great!
After 2 weeks of fatherhood and realizing that the "hold the bottle under hot tap water" wasn't exactly efficient or fun, I read lots of reviews on these bottle warmers. We're EXTREMELY pleased with the Avent iQ warmer, which does exactly as promised at all times. The pattern of button punches a few folks complained about aren't an issue - just requires the user to pay attention. It fits even large bottles (we use Dr. Brown's wide-mouth) just fine, which was my biggest concern, and heats evenly every time. As with all steam-heaters, you have to be careful when grabbing the warmed bottle out of the warmer - just screw on the nipple and all is well.

Great product, we're very happy with it after 2 months of heavy use.

May have IQ in the name, but it's missing the word "Low"
We purchased this product having thought the features side by side most other warmers were impressive. However what is missing from this warming is:

Ease of use

When using any kind of engineered product, it's the subtle differences which count the most.
This warmer loses in these areas:

#1. The buttons are in a bad location. The side of the warmer makes it difficult to use with a baby in one arm. Yes, you can prop it up against a wall, however "propping up" against a wall shouldn't be any kind of work around a device relies on.

#2. The buttons are not intuitive. You need to hold the buttons down to turn it on. This is not obvious at all as most people who would buy any product are not trained to hold buttons down to see their response.

#3. While the steam warming action is a great feature, the need to change the water after every use is not. Turning an electric appliance on it's side, potentially risking a electrical shock every time is impractical.

#4. Finally, the way you set the warmer gives you no indication on how long you have to listen to your crying baby.

I would strongly recommend anybody considering a warmer to get a Dr. Browns warmer instead. It may not be as pretty looking, but it does not have any of the usability issues which I've outlined above.

Avent iQ Bottle Warmer - Great little gem
My wife and I love the fact that it takes the guessing out of the "is it warm enough, or too much". The key to this is choosing the right option for room temp, fridge, or frozen, since it determine how much heated steam to produce for the chosen amount of milk.

Poorly Designed
We got this warmer as many of our other baby products were Avent and we liked how those worked. Unfortunately, this warmer seems to have been designed by people without kids.

While the buttons are easy to understand they're not easy to use. Just to turn the unit on you need to hold a soft button for three seconds. You then select your bottle size and whether the bottle is cold, frozen or room temperature. Finally you need to engage the warmer holding a different button for another 3 seconds.

None of this is rocket science, but just imagine doing this unnecessarily long sequence when holding a crying baby - the unit is light and has recessed plastic-covered buttons that really require you to be eye level with the unit when turning it on.

So despite the unit theoretically being able to get the bottle warm in just 2 or 3 minutes, at this point your baby is screaming under one arm as you are squatting down to be eye level with the unit on the counter while trying to hold various buttons for 3 seconds.

To top this off it doesn't get the bottle warm using the scale on the warmer- selecting 2oz for a 2oz bottle will just result in a cold bottle. You have to do some mental math to figure out how to re-adjust the scale on the spot.

Finally, if the lid isn't on just right, the unit won't activate. So as your baby is now flipping out the warmer won't work despite the unit appearing to be fine.

Technically, it works. In practical terms running a bottle under hot water would be simpler, cheaper and faster.

Love it except why doesn't it remember your last setting?!
I like this warmer which I've used with wide bottles, both avent and playtex (up to 9 oz bottles). It seems to heat everything perfectly as long as you follow the directions and select the proper settings. I'm able to use it easily with one hand but I can see how it might slide for some people. It's easy to use; however, I cannot understand why you can't re-set the default settings. Or why it doesn't automatically remember your last setting. That feature would make it perfect. It's annoying to always be using the same setting but to have to press the buttons like 10 times to get there.

I read a lot of reviews before choosing this warmer and selected it because of the quick warm-up time. I am not disappointed. I turn it on when the baby wakes up and the bottle is warm and ready by the time his diaper has been changed. I can see how the bottle could get too hot if you leave it in for too long, but my son never gives it a chance to overheat!

It works, but could be better
This bottle warmer does the job and works fast, but it is somewhat flawed in design. The whole "1,2,3" setting is kind of stupid. Obviously one would use the 3 setting since it heats the fastest. So the one and two setting are pointless. Also, it would be great if it had a timer on it?! Instead we use our stove timer, which is fine, but it just seems like the bottle warmer should have a timer on it.

Philips Avent Express Food and Bottle Warmer
This is a good warmer. It is a compact size that does not take too much space out of a kitchen counter. The only problem is that when the water is boiling, it shoots out of the warmer, which can burn your hands if you are trying to shut off the warmer.

Great for Formula feeding!
I had this bottle warmer with my 2nd child. I never used it with breast milk though. I did have an older version that did not have a light to tell when the bottle was ready. It has different setting and pretty much if you are wanting to warm a bottle you set the highest. I had used this at night I would put plain water in a bottle and place it in before bed with it set at an adjusted temp... it took a few trys to have it right... but once I did the water would be the prefect temp and all I did when the baby woke was put in the formula. Then after the baby would feed and went back to sleep I would just put in a fresh bottle with plain water and it would be ready again for the next feeding. Making nighttime formula feeding so much easier.

Poor design
We've been using this bottle warmer for almost 2 months and have been very disappointed with its design and ultimately the function.

Strike 1 - It frequently over or under heats the bottle. We have to use our own timer instead of the light signal which is supposedly triggered by the thermostat. It does not work properly every time.

Strike 2 - The on/off switch is on the back of the unit where you cannot see it, and it's labeled with a circle/dash instead of on/off. I scribbled on and off next to it with a permanent marker so we wouldn't keep leaving it on. However, I still have to turn it around every time to check which is a hassle if you're holding the baby. Why not design it with a button on the front?!

Strike 3 - This warmer doesn't have an automatic shut off and since there isn't an 'on' light or switch on the front, it's quite easy to leave it on accidentally. I think this is a fire hazard.

Strike 4 - The inside of the cup where you put the bottle is light blue, so it's very difficult to see the water level. If you add the bottle and there's too much water, it spills all over the counter. It looks nice, but affects the functionality. It seems that suggested fill levels could be marked on the interior.

I'm disappointed with this warmer and am looking for another one.

Does the job, could use a couple improvements
If you're needing warm milk... this will do the job for you. Much better than putting a bottle in a mug of hot water. 4 minutes for room temp bottle and 5 minutes for cold. It's the timing that makes it sort of difficult. If, for example, you are only warming up 1 or 2 oz you don't need do warm it the full time. If the bottle is extremely cold in the fridge, it may take longer than 5 minutes. It would be nice if there was a clock on the warmer... or a timer.
