Crumb Catcher
This chair looks great. It's steady, durable, and seems to be comfortable for my little girl. HOWEVER, it could not be more difficult to clean. It is as if it's designed to catch every morsel of her food. Plus, the straps are white. I mean really, WHITE? So now they are more of a sweet potato pea color. And removing these straps to clean them is pretty much an impossibility. Don't buy.

Good Purchase
After investigating many different highchairs, I am confident I made the right purchase. Looks great with my furniture. Easy to clean and my daughter doesn't mind sitting when I'm doing house work. She actually sat in this chair for about 40 minutes while I loaded the dishwasher, started the laundry etc etc. My only complaint would be, it is a little difficult to put the tray back on once I take her out the highchair. I would have the baby in one hand and the tray in another, trying to snap it back on to the chair. I wish the tray didn't come completely off and I could just slide it back and forth.

Would not buy it again
We are first-time parents, so we're learning as we go. Unfortunately, we learned the hard way about this chair. I ordered it online without seeing it in person, which I hate to do. I initially was drawn to it because of its colors and "zen" feel, but those didn't even deliver in person. The base is very wide. It does not pull up to our dining room table, and because of the contour of the front legs, I can't pull up a chair to face and feed my baby very easily, either. Also, the legs are made of metal, which I thought were wooden. The chair "folds" to a semi-upright position, but really doesn't become slim enough to be useful. The vinyl green cover is not very attractive in person. The harness straps seem to get in the way more than anything, and my baby easily can get them into his mouth, instantly covering them in food, and they do not easily detach and clean. Overall, I was very disappointed in this high chair for the money. For our next baby, we will buy something that is more sleek, like the Bloom Nano, or one that attaches directly to the table .

Serious Health Drawbacks To This Chair
We purchased the Fisher Price Zen High Chair for all of the obvious reasons: it looks like a top quality high chair, is pleasing to the eye, has a softer more secure padding system than others, is safe and easy to operate, etc. In light of long-term usage, however, this product has some serious drawbacks that shoppers should be aware of (Fisher Price certainly won't tell you).
The majority of the problems with this product concern the food tray, which is the surface area that your child will do most of their eating on. This aspect is where the Fisher Price product falls apart. The food tray is poorly designed in several regards:
1) As other reviewers have mentioned, the insert tray that fits over the main tray is virtually useless. Your child will quickly discover how easily it slips off of the main tray and onto the floor, taking all of their cereal, orange juice, spoons and play toys along with it. But this is a small concern compared to the next one.
2) The main tray itself is a SERIOUS HEALTH HAZARD. If you inspect the tray closely, you will see that it is composed of two opposing pieces of plastic (a top piece and a bottom piece) that are held together by a system of perhaps a dozen small phillips head screws. These top and bottom sections are hollow on the inside. Because water and other fluids will seep in between these sections, and because condensation gathers there, the space in between these pieces of plastic becomes a hothouse for mould and other fungi. Since the time I purchased the high chair, I have taken the trouble to unscrew the sections of the food tray several times to clean it out, and on each occasion have been greeted by a gelatinous gob of mould that has been festering inside. Naturally, the laws of physics assure us that what goes in must come out, and you can be sure that trace amounts of mould, bacteria and microbes squirm their way back out of the tray and onto your youngsters hands, etc. I have a set of photographs of this mould for anyone who is interested.
3) The belt and harness system for this chair is made of the cheapest nylon webbing possible. This webbing will rub your child's thighs raw during the summer months if they are not wearing long pants (say they are in their onesie, for example). The webbing is also white in color, which stains a strange orange/purple shade when it has had a chance to connect with a sufficient amount of Gerber's mashed carrots, beets, peas, etc.
All of the above criticisms are, in my opinion, serious design flaws that could (and should) be avoided in the production of a high end chair such as the Fisher Price Zen Series. In the final run, we paid top wallet for this chair because we thought it would be the best possible product our little guy could eat on. There are good aspects to it, but Fisher Price should see to these design issues before marketing this high chair as a flagship product to their customers ... particularly the aspects that could be hazardous to your toddler's health.

Love this high chair!
We have had this chair for 4 months now and we love it. Our daughter is almost 10 months. The colors are beautiful and it matches our dining room perfectly. My daughter loves it. She even sits in it sometimes and watches me while I cook in the kitchen. The recline feature is a big plus. She loves to lay back in it while she drinks from her sippy cup. There is plenty of room for her to grow in it so I can see we will get our money's worth. The tray snaps on very snugly so we don't have to worry about her taking it off herself. The insert and cover are easy to remove and clean. We have the space but if you are working with a small space the base is wide (to provide stability).

Don't let the good looks fool you. Bad design and poorly made
This thing has a noisy motor and our baby did not like it at all. Second, it is a battery hog, and has no other means of operation. They should have included a cord to eliminate the batteries all together. Third, the batteries are such a pain to change! I can not express strongly enough how tough the batteries are to change! Fourth, it does not fold up, so I hope you like looking at this thing because it takes up a lot of room and can not be collapsed.

Great Bassinet!
I read every review I could find before purchasing, so I expected the mattress to be too thin (and it was), BUT I used a wedge anyway and it offered a lot of additional support.
I loved the look of the bassinet and we were not disappointed one bit when it arrived. We only used it for 6 weeks as our baby is very long and transitioned to the crib easily. I wish we could have gotten more use out of it, but the baby's size and growth rate is impossible to predict sometimes.
I was surprised by how big it was, but our room is rather large and it blended well. If you have a small bedroom, this is probably not the bassinet for you. The only con was that the rocking motor was a bit on the loud side, but the baby didn't seem to mind.
I'm glad I bought this bassinet and plan to pass it onto a friend.

This is an amazing bassinet!
I bought this for a friend and being a mom myself, I can truly recognize a fantastic product when I see one. I saved them the trouble and assembled it and it truly was not all that bad. Took me a half an hour. I was really worried about buying this after reading the negative reviews...but am so happy I went with my gut and got it. I was expecting a teeny-tiny sleeping area and a loud, grinding motor. This does not have either. I would compare the motor to any standard swing motor, nothing louder than that and I would say you can expect to use this for 3-4 months. That is pretty much the same for anything besides a co-sleeper. As far as the "not being able to haul it up and down the stairs," I am not sure what bassinet or play yard is convenient to drag up and down anyhow. I would however, describe this bassinet as somewhere it will stay put in...like in the master bedroom.
As far as aesthetics, this bassinet is the Roles Royce of bassinets...none other compare to it. It is beyond beautiful. The details on the bedding are amazing. As far as the "mattress" goes, I would agree with it being substandard. I tried putting a quilt underneath the entire pad and it gives it the cushion and give while still keeping the safe, rigid sleeping surface for a newborn. Easy fix. I would highly recommend this bassinet!

Unnecessary!
Bassinets are only needed under very specific circumstances. And even so, they aren't needed for long. My sister got this Fisher Price bassinet and other than putting her tot in there to justify the purchase, it is mostly left unused. The gliding DOES NOT calm or soothe him in any way. Grown ups think having a bed that slides back and forth would be relaxing and awesome, but for an infant, nothing can replace the human touch. The bed is also so small, there is so much cushion that the space left for the tot would not fit more than a 3 month old. There is no room to change diapers even so it isn't even good for that. The battery life is ridiculous, one use and all 4 D batteries go kaput. It does look cute though, I'll give it that, so at least sitting there being useless is not an eye sore.

Does the job, and not too annoying
Unlike other baby bouncers, we were drawn to the color and look of this product. We are pleased with its aesthetics, as well as its performance. The 'vibrate' setting works wonders to keep my baby sleeping longer! The nature sounds and the musical settings are also nice... not annoying like some that you hear on other baby accessories.
The only critique I have is of the dangling toy (dragonfly?). It only swivels 90 degrees to one side. Also, my baby has virtually ZERO interest in the toy... so I'm convinced that it's there just for looks.

Don't waste your money
I bought this bouncer mainly for looks. Don't buy it - the vibrations don't work very well at all and I've changed the batteries it doesn't matter. It looks really cute though! Very disappointed.

bulky design
i'm happy i got this seat as a gift because i wouldn't be happy if i had paid for it myself.
my newborn will sit in this seat for no more than 20mins. the little toy that hangs on it is not very functional and gets in the way most of the time. maybe if the colors were brighter it would be more effective. so most of the time we remove it.
the legs on this thing come out farther than the actual seat so it's not the easiest to move from room to room especially if you have your baby in your arms. and when it's not being used, because its got a bulky shape, it's always sticking out in annoying ways. not the most practical if you have a small place.
3 stars for the 20 minute breaks it gives us.

infant seat
Really nice product. Lime green & brown are a nice combination. Too bad the mobile does not move and you can't attach toys. Good for a newborn.

Stuff for my angel
Overall this is a good and sturdy chair for an infant. It has a lot of features that the babies may or may not enjoy, depending on your child. The only downside is the jiggly dragonfly pole that will fall off if not stuck in the hole securely. Make sure that it is always secure. This chair was the best especially when it comes to your baby not tumbling over in it. I even tried my 20 pound nephew in it and it stayed secure. Good buy!
