Compact and Great Quality Chair!
I read the reviews on this chair and knew I had to have it. I was not disappointed when I received the chair. The chair itself assembles easily and can be quickly/firmly strapped to just about any normal chair. The chair backing is made of vinyl but feels more plush due to the filling inside. The restraint straps are easy to adjust and the plastic bit between the legs keeps my son firmly in place. My only slight complaint, is that I sometimes have a tough time attaching the table potion to the rails on the chair. My wife and I had a difficult time with this at first, but over time, we are mastering it. Great chair overall!

Pros:
Compact design
Good price
Can be strapped firmly to any regular chair
Plush and easily cleanable chair backing

Cons:
Plastic table can sometimes be difficult to attach to chair

Saves space, not for big babies
We love this chair for its portability and its ease of cleaning, but from the start it was difficult to fit our hefty one-year-old in it. We took off the padding and the back of the chair to make it into an early booster sit with a tray. It's definitely a good buy, but would work a bit better for a less chunky baby.

Good product but not full-size
This is a nice-looking chair and fairly easy to put together except for the fiddly straps (I'd suggest leaving out the shoulder straps as they make it hard to put baby in and will make you curse like a sailor as you try to thread them in the slits in the chair cushion). But there are two important (and one minor) drawbacks: one, the dimensions cover the full product, and this includes the wider base, so the actual cushioned seating space for the child is kind of small - my seven month old fits in it but he won't fit in much longer - think small infant car seat and you get the idea; two, the product is attached to your chair with straps and the safety straps to keep the child in are attached to the seat padding by threading straps through slits and hoping that the doubled-over stitched end of the strap holds. I did not feel particularly secure with this arrangement though I have not tried other high chairs to see if they work differently. Small drawback: the chair is not light and easy to move around when you attach it to your full-size dining chair.

Great
I have twins and bought two of these chairs. they gave me a lot more room in the kitchen, the trays are easy to wash, their safety is great. my boys like to dance in their seats and even they havent managed to budge the safety straps. the only thing is, with red or orange foods, make sure you wash immediately because the type of material of the seat is stains easy.

Fairly good product definitely a space saver
This is a very good product definitely saves a lot of space. However, it does get heavy when attached to the chair if you have to move it around with the chair. The tray could have also been a little better designed because sliding it in and out is a little difficult. Overall a fairly good product.

This chair is perfect for my 7 months old baby. I read some reviews about it being too small for children. Well, mine seem to fit fine in it with still some space to fill in. Tray in quite big, easily detached and washed. The height is adjustable and the back easily reclines. The covers are also easily washed. My baby tends to wipe her hands against the head support so i wash it regularly. It is great for both bottle and self-feedings. The legs of the chair are a bit tricky.  Besides it has a certain style and can be a part of the kitchen or the dinning area. Recommended…

Would not buy it again
We are first-time parents, so we're learning as we go. Unfortunately, we learned the hard way about this chair. I ordered it online without seeing it in person, which I hate to do. I initially was drawn to it because of its colors and "zen" feel, but those didn't even deliver in person. The base is very wide. It does not pull up to our dining room table, and because of the contour of the front legs, I can't pull up a chair to face and feed my baby very easily, either. Also, the legs are made of metal, which I thought were wooden. The chair "folds" to a semi-upright position, but really doesn't become slim enough to be useful. The vinyl green cover is not very attractive in person. The harness straps seem to get in the way more than anything, and my baby easily can get them into his mouth, instantly covering them in food, and they do not easily detach and clean. Overall, I was very disappointed in this high chair for the money. For our next baby, we will buy something that is more sleek, like the Bloom Nano, or one that attaches directly to the table .

Serious Health Drawbacks To This Chair
We purchased the Fisher Price Zen High Chair for all of the obvious reasons: it looks like a top quality high chair, is pleasing to the eye, has a softer more secure padding system than others, is safe and easy to operate, etc. In light of long-term usage, however, this product has some serious drawbacks that shoppers should be aware of (Fisher Price certainly won't tell you).

The majority of the problems with this product concern the food tray, which is the surface area that your child will do most of their eating on. This aspect is where the Fisher Price product falls apart. The food tray is poorly designed in several regards:

1) As other reviewers have mentioned, the insert tray that fits over the main tray is virtually useless. Your child will quickly discover how easily it slips off of the main tray and onto the floor, taking all of their cereal, orange juice, spoons and play toys along with it. But this is a small concern compared to the next one.

2) The main tray itself is a SERIOUS HEALTH HAZARD. If you inspect the tray closely, you will see that it is composed of two opposing pieces of plastic (a top piece and a bottom piece) that are held together by a system of perhaps a dozen small phillips head screws. These top and bottom sections are hollow on the inside. Because water and other fluids will seep in between these sections, and because condensation gathers there, the space in between these pieces of plastic becomes a hothouse for mould and other fungi. Since the time I purchased the high chair, I have taken the trouble to unscrew the sections of the food tray several times to clean it out, and on each occasion have been greeted by a gelatinous gob of mould that has been festering inside. Naturally, the laws of physics assure us that what goes in must come out, and you can be sure that trace amounts of mould, bacteria and microbes squirm their way back out of the tray and onto your youngsters hands, etc. I have a set of photographs of this mould for anyone who is interested.

3) The belt and harness system for this chair is made of the cheapest nylon webbing possible. This webbing will rub your child's thighs raw during the summer months if they are not wearing long pants (say they are in their onesie, for example). The webbing is also white in color, which stains a strange orange/purple shade when it has had a chance to connect with a sufficient amount of Gerber's mashed carrots, beets, peas, etc.

All of the above criticisms are, in my opinion, serious design flaws that could (and should) be avoided in the production of a high end chair such as the Fisher Price Zen Series. In the final run, we paid top wallet for this chair because we thought it would be the best possible product our little guy could eat on. There are good aspects to it, but Fisher Price should see to these design issues before marketing this high chair as a flagship product to their customers ... particularly the aspects that could be hazardous to your toddler's health.

Love this high chair!
We have had this chair for 4 months now and we love it. Our daughter is almost 10 months. The colors are beautiful and it matches our dining room perfectly. My daughter loves it. She even sits in it sometimes and watches me while I cook in the kitchen. The recline feature is a big plus. She loves to lay back in it while she drinks from her sippy cup. There is plenty of room for her to grow in it so I can see we will get our money's worth. The tray snaps on very snugly so we don't have to worry about her taking it off herself. The insert and cover are easy to remove and clean. We have the space but if you are working with a small space the base is wide (to provide stability).

Zen is our Friend
OMG, We love our new Zen High Chair. Our 5 month old son is having a wonderful time sitting up high. Now, he can visually see everything going on in the room. Best of all, this Zen chair is a perfect match with our dining room decor.

Zen is our Friend!

F.P. got it wrong with this one.
Pass on this high chair. Looks good but not functional. Wouldn't even give it to my friend who is having a baby. The tray is WAY too heavy. The seat kept dropping automatically and when it is upright the baby is practically leaning forward. The shoulder straps even on their tightest setting wouldn't hold my average size baby in tightly. If you are going with Fisher price do the Space Saver high chair instead. If you have an older baby the booster high chair for is a steal.

Healthy Care has been a sturdy, safe, functional chair for 7 years' use
We purchased the 2003 version of FP's Healthy Care high chair. Seven years and 3 kids later, this chair looks and functions like new. Our version does not have the wheels and a few "bells and whistles" that the newer models include; however, it has held up well and has been easy to use, clean and has kept our children safe.

Good product with reasonable price
I am happy with this high chair. It serves the job with reasonable price.
The only 2 cons I have in mind are the wheels are a bit difficult to move and control.
My son loves to be pushed while he is sitting on the high chair.
However, it is not easy to push as the wheels do not working smoothly.
The 2nd con is the toy that comes along. It is pretty useless. I rather FP didn't provide the toys but sell for lower price.

Great addition
Excellent product, my son loves it, we like that it has the attached toy and removable tray, works well and appears to last a while. It can adjust as child grows. Once you put it together, you're good to go for a long time.

Great highchair!
This highchair is wonderful. It has a vinyl seat cushion which is easy to clean and can be removed when the whole chair needs to be cleaned. It has adjustable, removeable straps which can easily be cleaned. The seat does recline to different positions so that it can be used for infants at a young age. The rainforest toy is great for when you have an infant that needs entertaining to eat. As your baby gets older the toy can be removed and there is an extra tray that sits on top. This can easily be cleaned in the sink and is dishwasher safe. The best feature about this highchair is that you can remove the tray with a 1-hand release. This is really important for when you are holding your infant with one arm and you want to set up the chair without putting your child down. Also the tray snaps on just by placing it on top - rather than having to thread it through 2 guide rails. Again this is a great convenience for when your child does not like to sit still or your hands are full. I know some of the reviewers have complained about the wheels locking/ unlocking but I have not encountered any difficulty with them so far and we have been using it now for over a year. I highly recommend this chair.

A good high Chair
I bought this high chair for my 6 month old. It was recommended in the Baby Bargains book so I decided to go with this one. The chair works well. The tray can be removed easily with one hand. The wheels works ok but sometimes are not as smooth as I would like. The toy that comes with it is great but is a little tall for my daughter. The restraints have been good so far and clean up is easy. I would recommend this product.
