Summer Infant Day & Night Flat Screen Color Video Monitor with 7″ LCD Screen

There are some problems
We got this as a shower gift before our daughter was born. It worked well for a few months and then the on/off button stopped working. We managed to tape a little rubber nub over it to hold it down so it still works, but we have to unplug it to turn it off which is annoying. There also does seem to be a good deal of interference sometimes, and the volume control is not very good. Even on the lowest setting with sound coming out it can be quite loud, we've never turned it above that. We probably would not buy another one, but it has worked well to keep an eye on the kids.

Outstanding!!
We were about to buy just an audio monitor for our baby, and just luckily we got this audio/video one.

The image quality is very nice. Never had an issue with interference from microwaves or cordless phones.

It's being in uninterrupted operation since two months without problems.

Great monitor with great clarity and a good price
This monitor has been reliable, and incredibly useful for keeping an eye on our Toddler as she's sleeping in her room.

The low-light video is excellent and the range of the cameras was more than enough for us, living in a three-floor townhouse.

I will second the comments about signal interference from 900Mhz cordless phones (not mobiles, though).

All in all, an excellent way to keep an eye on little ones without risking waking them up by going into check on them.

GOTTA HAVE IT!!!
We bought THREE video monitors before this one and all they did was make that lovely white noise fuzz sound because they clashed with our wireless music system. This one at 900mz is so quiet you don't know its on until the baby makes a sound. But the volume doesn't go down very quietly and then its just silent or off. So we did put a little tape over the speaker in the back just because we have it RIGHT on our bedside table in my ear. :)

the video is GREAT clarity in light (color) or dark (black and white) rooms! LOVE LOVE LOVE IT! Also, there is a A and B channel so if you have two you want to keep track of you can switch to the other channel (after purchasing another camera of course).

Overall we love it and definitely say its a must have! I also like that the video can be turned off and just the sound left on if you keep it in your room at night.

Buyer beware
My husband went to the store at 2am to buy a generic monitor to replace this one ... we couldn't take the crackling anymore. The reception is TERRIBLE on this, unless your bedroom is right next door to baby's room. Also, the picture on the monitor is pretty mediocre. I wouldn't pay B000XSGJEU for this. I WISH I would have listened to the other reviewers who warned about the bad reception.
