We purchased this seat for our son because he loved being in his FP Precious Planet bouncer so much. We wanted to get something to keep upstairs since we are too lazy to carry the bouncer up and down the stairs. We decided on this because of the soft, plush fabric and the cute design. While he did spend some time in it, if I had to chose between the bouncer and this, I would chose the bouncer, hands down as we have gotten so much more use from it. Our son outgrew this seat (lengthwise), but he still uses his bouncer daily.

I really REALLY wanted to like this infant seat. It is the best looking one out there.

Unfortunately, it looks like Fisher-Price did not use an actual baby when designing this product.

1. The toy hangs too close to the baby's face.
2. The curve of the seat does not seem to fit the baby right (and I have a average-sized baby).
3. My son doesn't like it!

and...
4. The toy bar does not stay up, always swings down even when we don't want it down.

I know how important it is for newborns to be held a lot, so I didn't plan to use this all the time, but even for the short periods my son was in it (to get some food started on the stove, run another child to the bathroom, etc.) he was not content, even when it was vibrating. He likes the swing much better.

Therefore I'm returning this one. It is good looking, but that's worth nothing (especially not $[...]!) if we won't get any use out of it.

This seat is worth 50-60 dollars, for sure.

First off, it's totally portable. Take it with you on vacation, to the beach, , to the backyard, to the bathroom, to the kitchen, and you've got a sturdy, comfy, and reliable baby seat to help you get your housework under control.

Like ANY baby item, if you use it as a babysitter, you will be disappointed because baby is going to get pissed. I've had this for at least five months and the original batteries are still going strong.

I have this in addition to a swing, because it's easy to just grab this if I need a shower and set her up right on the floor while I bathe. This way I can keep a close eye on her and communicate with her if she feels lonely.

Also, this seat folds up for storage behind a door or wherever you want to put it. It's subtle and not one of those gaudy raindow-colored baby items, which I appreciate.

For me, it's a must have Amazon registry item.

it's not bad, it's not great
my son slept in his seat for the 1st two months of his life. Then he decides he wasn't having it anymore lol so we moved him over to the matching cradle swing and he's been sleeping in that every night ever since. he's 6 months old now.
but he got really used to the music from the lamb seat (and to be honest so did I - the swing music has chirping crickets in the background that drive me crazy.) so I flatten the seat and put directly underneath the swing and use the music from that instead.
during the day i move him around from place to place so he doesnt get bored (exersaucer, bumbo, activity mat, and lamb seat.)
I def think that now that he's older he would prefer to be more upright, so he doesn't stay in the lamb seat as long as the other things and he def won't sleep in it at all anymore. but it's good enough for 15 minutes here and there. (i wonder if he would like it better if it DID bounce. he doesn't have really strong ab muscles yet and i dont have a real bouncer so i dont know.)
but like i said, we can't live without that music. we have to go to NYC in august and we're taking the lamb seat just for the music alone (for the 8 hour drive.)
when he's older and def not using the seat anymore im gonna have my husband find a way to take the music box off the seat to make it even more portable.

My baby loves this seat! He was premature, so it was a perfect place to put him in for a nap or for extra soothing and comfort. I LOVE how soft the headrest and body are. I wish I'd had something like this when I was a baby! Not that I would remember it anyway!:)
When I purchased it, I got it for a steal. from . So I already loved it because of that! I can't tell you how many times this product has kept Sammy entertained when I needed to get homework done, or take a shower. I would bring the lamb seat in the bathroom and put him in it while I showered. He would either fall asleep, or just sit there and listen to the music and enjoy the vibration. I know it really soothes him. I've only seen him bat at the hanging lamb a couple of times; I'm not sure why he's not more interested in it? Overall though, I have loved this product, and I know he has too. I would definitly recommend it to a friend!
